Calum’s London Marathon blog 2

Calum O'Keefe will be running the Virgin Money London Marathon for Leuchie on 23 April. In this second instalment of his blog he gives us an update on his training, fundraising and the need for nipple tape!

"Apologies to anyone who was on the Bristol to Bath cycle path when I was nearing the end of my 20 mile training run. I was making some odd noises by then!

Apart from that small side effect it went reasonably well and I'm looking forward to the big day in two weeks. These runs are useful to practice things like waking up in time, applying nipple tape and eating the right breakfast.

On Thursday I ran a charity pub quiz in Bristol. Despite me being the compere and quiz master there was a great turn out and it raised £183. The chance to win Leuchie t-shirts was clearly all the motivation needed! It was great fun and I'm looking forward to running more events in the future.

Final two weeks of training and I've passed the half way mark towards my fundraising target which is fantastic!

Thanks to everyone who has supported me so far. If you'd like to support me, it would be greatly appreciated and you'll find my fundraising page at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/CalumOKeefe."
