Set in beautiful East Lothian countryside beside North Berwick, Leuchie House offers short respite breaks in a country house setting to people with complex care needs.

Leuchie House provides an essential service for people, and their carers, affected by long term physical conditions such as multiple sclerosis, stroke and Parkinson’s. Our five star philosophy ensures the highest level of care in meeting the physical, emotional and social needs of our guests through excellent customer service, with guests’ wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.

We are now looking for a Digital Skills Support to provide IT support to our guests and their carers.

In this brand new role you will work closely with our guests and their carers to assist them with IT support and online activities. This can be in a variety of ways such as assisting them with emails, online shopping, use of social media. You'll also be involved in introducing them to inclusive technology and how to get the most out of it, for example how to find local support services (support groups, physiotherapy advice, counselling) and how to find available funding for home improvements, equipment, care, respite etc.

You will have the opportunity to interact with our guests and their carers to make their online use a fun and enjoyable experience. 

The role is a fixed term contract for one year. £8.95 per hour. 3 hours per week.
